  1. As always, each data item, called a "thing" is up to 80 characters across,
  2. on one line. Now, with this version (5) you may attach up to 10 full lines
  3. of text to each thing. These added lines are called a "note." When
  4. you do a word search, you may opt to search the notes for text. Notes
  5. may also be printed.

  7. The "Note" button is on the top left of the edit bar. Typically, you
  8. enter in the "thing" in the long white bar, then click on Note, enter
  9. in the note for that thing, click on Exit, and click Add. If you were
  10. changing the note for an existing thing, select the thing so it appears
  11. in the white edit bar, then click on Note, edit the note, click on Exit,
  12. and click on Replace. Remember, you must click on either Add or Replace
  13. for the new note to take effect.
